Founding Leader of the All Progressives Congress in Delta State and former governorship candidate, Olorogun O’tega Emerhor, has congratulated Governor Sheriff Oborevwori on his 63rd birthday, praising his leadership style, fiscal discipline, and developmental achievements across the state.
Emerhor, in a statement issued on Friday, described the governor as a purposeful and visionary leader whose administration had continued to inspire confidence among Deltans through the implementation of the MORE Agenda.
He commended Oborevwori for what he termed prudent management of state resources and his commitment to channeling available funds into projects and programmes that directly impact the lives of the people.
According to him, the governor has demonstrated remarkable leadership, political maturity, and dedication to the welfare of citizens since assuming office.
“Governor Oborevwori has shown commendable restraint, responsibility, and focus in steering the affairs of Delta State at a time when fiscal discipline and accountability are indispensable to good governance,” Emerhor said.
He noted that the administration’s achievements in infrastructure development, including the construction and rehabilitation of roads and bridges, as well as investments in education, healthcare, and other critical sectors, were evidence of a government committed to progress and economic growth.
The APC chieftain also lauded the governor’s inclusive leadership style, saying it had strengthened peace, unity, and the foundation for sustainable development across the state.
Expressing confidence in Oborevwori’s political future, Emerhor declared that Deltans were proud of the governor’s performance and predicted victory for the APC in the 2027 general elections.
“With your outstanding performance, Deltans are proud of you, and as you lead Delta APC into the 2027 general elections, your second term is assured, and APC will coast to victory from the presidential election to other elections,” he stated.
Emerhor prayed for God’s continued guidance, good health, wisdom, and strength for the governor as he continues to lead the state.
