Adjogbe retains position as Buhari appoints Braimbraifa as acting NDDC MD

President Muhammadu Buhari has appointed Prof Nelson Braimbraifa as the Acting Managing Director for the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).

Buhari also approved the appointment of Engr. Samuel Adjogbe as the Acting Executive Director (Projects).

In a statement signed by the Special Adviser to the President, Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, said the appointment takes immediate effect.

The statement said, “The President, following a Federal Executive Council (FEC) resolution, has equally vested the supervisory role of the commission in the Honourable Minister of Niger Delta Affairs, as well as approved the dissolution of the extant board.”

Buhari also appointed Mr Chris Amadi as the Acting Executive Director (Finance and Administration).

Adjogbe, until his appointment, was also the Executive Director, Project in the dissolved board by Buhari. He is the only one among the dissolved board members who retained his position in the new board.
