Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has extended warm felicitations to the Chairman of the Delta State Council of Traditional Rulers and Orodje of Okpe Kingdom, HRM Maj.-Gen. Felix Mujakperuo (rtd), Orhue I, on the occasion of his birth anniversary.

Governor Oborevwori in a statement issued in Asaba by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, praised the revered monarch for his outstanding contributions to peace, development, and nation-building.
He described the Orodje as a bridge-builder of unwavering integrity whose influence continues to resonate across Delta State and Nigeria.
Oborevwori noted that the Monarch’s decades of service have been marked by a deep commitment to harmony, progress, and the preservation of cultural heritage.
He lauded the monarch as a respected royal father, a custodian of Okpe tradition, and an exemplary leader whose guidance has been invaluable to his people.
“Over the years, Orhue I has made remarkable contributions to the growth and advancement of Okpe Kingdom, Delta State, and the nation at large,” the Governor said.
He commended the monarch’s steadfast support for his administration and his efforts in uniting his subjects and strengthening the traditional institution in alignment with the state’s development objectives.
Oborevwori said: “On behalf of the Government and people of Delta State, I warmly congratulate His Royal Majesty, Maj.-Gen. Felix Mujakperuo (rtd), CFR, the Orodje of Okpe Kingdom, Orhue I, on his birth anniversary.

As Chairman of the Delta State Council of Traditional Rulers, you have consistently demonstrated humility, impeccable leadership, and an unwavering commitment to peace advocacy.”
The Governor joined the people of Okpe Kingdom in celebrating “an extraordinary monarch,” praying for continued good health, wisdom, and strength for the Orodje as he continues to lead the traditional institution across the state.
“I applaud His Majesty for his unwavering commitment to preserving Okpe culture, fostering harmony, promoting socio-cultural cooperation, encouraging communal living, and strengthening peaceful coexistence among the diverse ethnic groups in the state,” he added.
Oborevwori further described the monarch as an inspiration, a mentor, and a role model to both peers and younger leaders, praying that God grants him many more years of impactful service in good health and divine wisdom.
