DELTA POLLS: Okowa in early lead, wins four LGAs, Ogboru one

Incumbent Governor Ifeanyi Okowa and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the governorship election in Delta State is presently in early lead in the results announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

Okowa is defeating his major rival and candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Chief Great Ogboru, in the election with wide margin in the five Local Government Areas (LGAs) results announced so far.

The governor has won four of the five LGAs declared so far by INEC.

Ogboru of the APC has won one. He won Ethiope East.

4. Ethiope East LGA
