Delta Two, Lagos 177 As NCDC Confirms 338 New Cases Of COVID-19 In Nigeria

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed 338 new cases of the COVID-19 pandemic in the country.

It brings to 5959 confirmed cases the country has recorded since the outbreak of the disease in the country.

NCDC disclosed this on Sunday night on its verified Twitter handle, saying that Lagos alone recorded 177 new cases of the virus on Sunday.

The report also stated that Delta, Rivers, Akwa Ibom, Abia and Ondo States in the Niger Delta region recorded fresh cases.

In the Sunday update in Niger Delta, Rivers recorded 16 new cases, Abia three, Delta two, Akwa Ibom two and Ondo had one.

With the fresh update, Lagos State now has a total of 2550 confirmed cases, Delta 27, Rivers 51, Akwa Ibom 18, Ondo 20, Abia five.

Edo State still top the chart with 95 confirmed cases in the region.
