“This evening, a patient in Delta State tested positive for the #COVID19 virus. This index case is already receiving the necessary treatment at one of our isolation centers. Tomorrow morning, I will be addressing our citizens on developments surrounding this case.

“Again, I ask that you all remain calm at this time and continue to adhere to the precautionary measures and isolation directives that we have put in place to keep you and your families safe.

” I have no doubt whatsoever that we will all get through this together”, Governor Okowa said.

Recall that the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) had on Tuesday announced 16 new cases of the COVID-19 in the country bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 254.

Withhelding the name of the hospital where The case was discovered in WARRI was a great mistake on the side of the government because u r putting more lives in danger.in a case like this those who walk in the hospital and those who stay with them at home and around their houses are supposed to be quarantine and tested for better results if not expect the worst when compared to Lagos State and ogun state please sir l suggest you do the right thing and save lives instead of allowing sentiment to create a great loss in the state thank you sir

The family and all those in the hospital should be isolated, the name of the hospital should be mentioned to avoid further spread of the virus.

If really what is in the news is true. Then why hiding the name of the hospital? The governor should open up to mention the name of the hospital and the person to enable the general public to know and have self consciousness on this dreaded covid 19 .
