Fire has reportedly engulfed the popular Santana Market along the Benin Sapele road in Benin city Edo State capital.
It was learnt property worth several millions of naira were destroyed by the raging inferno which occurred late Saturday night.
Sources at the market claimed that the fire outbreak was caused by power surge when power was restore to the market area.
