Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has paid glowing tribute to his son, Sheriff Jnr, on the occasion of his 40th birthday, describing him as “a calm, wise, and courageous young man” who has grown into a quiet pillar of strength and honour.

In a message filled with fatherly pride and deep reflection, Governor Oborevwori praised his son’s remarkable independence and personal discipline, noting that for more than a decade, Sheriff Jnr has navigated life with dignity, self-reliance, and integrity – choosing to stand on his own, not out of necessity, but out of conviction.

 

“You have shown unwavering strength, humility, and independence throughout the years,” the governor wrote. He added, “Not because you had to, but because you believed in facing life with courage and responsibility.”

 

Describing Sheriff Jnr as “a true son of his father,” the Governor reflected on his son’s quiet but impactful presence, calling him a reflection of the values he holds dear – kindness, calmness, service, and wisdom.
