Nothing Will Stop Creation Of Anioma State, Says Senator Ned Nwoko

Senator Ned Nwoko representing Delta North senatorial district at the National Assembly has expressed optimism that Anioma state would be created as the 37th state in the Federation.

Senator Nwoko gave the assurance yesterday while hosting his kinsmen in an enlarged meeting comprising leaders and members of the All Progressives Party (APC),Idumuje Ward 8 ,Aniocha North local government area.

Addressing the people at Mount Ned Resort in his Idumuje-Ugboko ancestral home, the senator said Anioma fulfilled necessary requirements to become a state and noted that “the emergence was only a matter of time, with preparation for referendum”. He said the administration of President Bola Tinubu as well as critical stakeholders including socio cultural groups across the country were all committed to the creation of the state.

Senator Nwoko called for continued support in the quest for Anioma state.

He told his kinsmen that he is “happy to be the first senator in the history of Idumuje clan as well as Aniocha North “ and thanked the people for their goodwill.

Senator Nwoko said he had “provided valuable social infrastructure and empowerment programmes “ since he came into office and assured that would always serve the best interests of his constituents in Delta North.

The federal lawmaker who is also the chancellor of Sports university Idumuje Ugboko, urged parents and guardians within Ward 8 and other parts of Delta North to take advantage of a scholarship programme he initiated in the institution to educate their children,for a better future.
