Oborevwori, Dafinone, Amori, Reps Members, Others Attend Rev Waive’s Son Wedding In Lagos

Political heavyweights, including the Delta State Governor, Rt. The Honorable Sheriff Oborevwori, Senator representing Delta Central, Senator Ede Dafinone, and members of the House of Representatives attended the traditional marriage of Dr. Timothy Waive and Dr. Toyin Coker on Thursday at the Lekki highbrow area of Lagos State.

Dr. Timothy is the son of the member representing Ughelli North, Ughelli South and Udu Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, and doubled as the founding pastor of the Church of the Anointing International, Enerhen Uvwie, Delta State,  Rev. Francis Ejiroghene Waive.

The colourful ceremony saw the groom, who hails from Obi-Ayagha in Ughievwen Kingdom in Delta State and the bride, Dr. Toyin, from Yoruba exchanging their traditional vows to be husband and wife.

 

The glamorous Urhobo and Yoruba traditional marriage ceremony was also attended by members of the House of Representatives and colleagues of the groom’s father including Hon. Victor Obizor, Prince Olande Mohammed and Hon. Bello Isah Ayomba.

Also in attendance were key political figures and chieftains of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from Delta including Senator Ighoyota Amori, Dr. Chris Oghenechovwen, Chief Isaiah Kekeje and President General of Ughievwen Kingdom, Chief Patrick Wheleke, Prince Frank Ugen and Chief Anthony Osieta.

The Okobaro (King) of Ughievwen Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Dr. Matthew Egbi, Owhawha 11, was represented at the event by the Queen of Ughievwen Kingdom and his son, Prince Dr. Igho Egbi.

 

Governor Oborevwori and Senator Dafinone prayed for the young couple, urging them to build a successful marriage like their parents. They described marriage as a blessing ordained by God and wished them a lifetime of happiness and fruitfulness.

 

In a goodwill message shared on his official Facebook page, Senator Dafinone wrote: “I had the pleasure of joining family, friends, and well-wishers of Rt. Hon. Francis Waive, Honourable Member representing Ughelli North Federal Constituency, to celebrate the traditional marriage of his son, Timothy Waive, as he exchanged vows with his beloved, Toyin Coker.
