Omo-Agege Condoles El-Rufai Over Mother’s Death
Former Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, has commiserated with former Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Nasir el-Rufai, over the death of his mother, Hajiya Umma El-Rufai.
Hajiya Umma El-Rufai reportedly passed away on Friday.
In a condolence message, Omo-Agege described the deceased as a pillar of strength and a shining example of faith, love and commitment.
“I was truly heartbroken to learn about the passing of your dear mother, the late Hajiya Umma El-Rufai. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this incredibly tough time. May her soul find peace, and may Allah grant her Al-Jannah,” he said.
He noted that the late matriarch lived a life marked by kindness, generosity and compassion, adding that her impact would continue to resonate with all who knew her.
“Mama was a true pillar of strength, a guiding light, and a remarkable example of faith, love, and commitment. Her legacy of kindness, generosity, and compassion will continue to inspire countless people,” Omo-Agege stated.
The former lawmaker further said her values would remain a source of strength to her family and the people of Kaduna State.
“The values she embodied—kindness, empathy, and generosity—will continue to guide and uplift your family, your community, and the people of Kaduna State,” he added.
He urged the former governor to take solace in the memories of her life and prayed for strength for the family to bear the loss.
“May you find comfort in the beautiful memories of her love, strength, and devotion. I pray that Allah grants you the resilience to get through this challenging time,” he said.
