Residents of the area particularly lamented that they have not been able to access their homes with their vehicles in the last three years owing to the unmotorable state of the road.

Odisi is the biggest quarter in Ughoton, Okpe Kingdom in Delta State. The road spanning about 20 kilometres linking other streets and new avenues stretching to the Warri river.

Following repeated complaints from residents and leaders of Ughoton town, NIGER DELTA TODAY team visited the area and observed that the only access road into the most-important residential area is not motorable.

A resident, Efe Oghenejabor, said no fewer than five vehicles belonging to landlords and residents had been stolen from where they were packed along the Ughoton/Jeddo road.

He appealed to Governor Oborevwori to include the construction of the road in the 2024 budget.

We have written to previous government to help us construct the road, but nothing was done.
