Delta Central lawmaker, Senator Ede Dafinone, on Sunday showered praises on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu as he marked his 74th birthday, describing him as a courageous leader whose reforms have repositioned Nigeria for long-term growth.
In a statement issued on March 29, 2026, the Delta Central lawmaker said Tinubu’s life had been defined by “service, sacrifice, and the unwavering pursuit of a better Nigeria,” noting that his leadership continues to inspire confidence across the country.
Dafinone particularly commended the President’s economic direction, saying the administration’s “bold and decisive policies” had stabilised the economy and restored credibility to the foreign exchange regime.
“While the path of reform is never easy, his courage in taking necessary decisions has repositioned our nation for sustainable growth and improved investor confidence,” he said.
The senator also applauded Tinubu’s leadership of the All Progressives Congress, citing the successful conduct of the party’s recent national convention at Eagle Square in Abuja as evidence of his unifying influence.
According to him, the convention underscored the President’s ability to strengthen the ruling party and provide strategic direction in Nigeria’s democratic journey.
Dafinone further described Tinubu as a leader with “resilience, political foresight, and commitment to progressive governance,” adding that his Renewed Hope Agenda reflects the resolve to steer the country toward stability and renewed greatness.
He prayed for more years of good health, wisdom, and strength for the President to continue serving the nation.
