President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, have poured glowing tributes on the Managing Director of Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited and the Ibe Benimowei of Gbaramatu Kingdom, High Chief (Engr.) Keston Ebimobowei Pondi, as he marks his 49th birthday.
President Tinubu, in a statement issued on Wednesday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga, described Engr. Pondi as a distinguished and patriotic Nigerian whose life exemplifies service, enterprise, and unwavering commitment to community development, particularly in the Niger Delta.
The President noted that Pondi’s leadership has played a critical role in driving economic growth, empowering youths, and promoting peace in the region, earning him widespread respect among stakeholders and community leaders.
He further acknowledged the celebrant’s consistent support for initiatives that enhance the welfare of his people and strengthen national cohesion, describing him as a bridge between grassroots aspirations and national development goals.
President Tinubu prayed for good health, wisdom, and renewed strength for the Tantita boss, expressing confidence that the years ahead would usher in even greater accomplishments in service to Gbaramatu Kingdom and Nigeria.
Similarly, Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, congratulated High Chief Pondi in a message issued on Thursday by his Chief Press Secretary, Sir Festus Ahon, praising his outstanding leadership and invaluable contributions to peace, security, and sustainable development in the Niger Delta.
Governor Oborevwori commended Pondi for the pivotal role Tantita Security Services continues to play in safeguarding Nigeria’s critical oil and gas infrastructure, noting that the improved protection of national assets has boosted crude oil production, stabilized revenue, and strengthened economic growth.
Describing him as an astute professional and committed patriot, the Governor also lauded Pondi’s philanthropic gestures and humanitarian interventions, particularly his support for youths and vulnerable groups across the region.
