The Orodje of Okpe Kingdom and chairman of the Delta State Traditional Rulers Council, His Royal Majesty, Maj. Gen. Felix Mujakperuo (Rtd), Orhue I, has been described as an extraordinary royal father, whose reign has brought peace and rapid development to the people of Okpe in Delta State.
Orhue I, who marks his 16th coronation anniversary on the throne of his forebears on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, is also eulogised for being the symbol of pride to the Okpe people, Urhobo Nation, and Nigeria at large for carrying the exalted throne with “uncommon pride”.
The Senator representing Delta Central Senatorial District at the National Assembly and Ede of Okpe Kingdom, Senator Ede Dafinone, stated this in a statement while paying glowing tribute to the monarch on his 16th coronation on Tuesday.
Dafinone, a high-ranking chief in the Okpe Kingdom, noted that the revered traditional ruler’s transformational leadership has brought enduring peace, unity, and development to Okpeland.
According to the Delta Central lawmaker, Orodje of Okpe has served the people of Okpe, Delta State, and Nigeria with uncommon dignity and courage, and has put Okpe Kingdom as one of the most revered thrones in Nigeria.
Dafinone said, “I, on behalf of the Dafinone family and the great people of Delta Central, extend my warmest congratulations to Your Royal Majesty, Orhue I, Maj. Gen. Felix Mujakperuo (Rtd), the Orodje of Okpe Kingdom and Chairman of the Delta State Traditional Rulers Council, as you mark the 19th coronation anniversary on the throne of our forefathers.
