Chief Great Ogboru, the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the forthcoming general elections has always won all previous elections in Delta State, a pro-Buhari group, Delta Rescue Mission for Buhari (DRM4PMB), has revealed.

The group said Ogboru will win this time around since the ruling party in the state no longer has the backing of the federal government to rig elections in their favour.

Mr. Martins Ahweyevu Mukoro, who is the Director-General of DRM4PMB stated at a Press Conference in Warri, Delta State on Thursday.

Mukoro, a lawyer, said the group would work for the re-election of President Muhammadu Buhari and the election of Ogboru in the exercise, saying that history would be made in the state next month polls.

According to him, “The truth really is that the APC Candidate as at today, Chief Great Ogboru, for those who know, has always won elections in the State.”

The group who dispelled the rumor that Ogboru and the APC has no structures in the State said,”It is not correct to say that APC has no structures in Delta State.”

The group argued that,”If he (Ogboru) doesn’t have structures, how was he winning the elections? Mobilizes the people for a change. How do you justify the state with a budget of about 300 Billion not doing as much as that of 150 people?

“I take Anambra because it’s the River Niger that separates us and them. Work on the transit roads and drainages in Onitsha. We are not talking of Awka now. Walk back to Asaba and see the decadence, the big dustbin that the State is.

The group said the APC can do a better job in terms of delivering the dividends of democracy to Nigerians if they unite and work hard against the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta State.
