The Speaker of Delta State House of Assembly, Chief Sheriff Oborevwori, is currently in early lead at the ongoing governorship primaries of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) holding in Asaba.
From the ongoing sorting of votes, Oborevwori has scored over 200 votes. He is being trailed by Olorogun David Edevbie and Senator James Manager.
The votes are still being sorted under a tight security at the Asaba Township Stadium.
