The Chief Adviser to the Governor of Delta State, Senator Ighoyota Amori, has felicitated a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in the state, Olorogun Bernard Okumagba, on the occasion of his birthday, describing him as a disciplined financial expert and committed grassroots mobiliser.
Amori, in a statement issued on Tuesday, commended Okumagba’s contributions to governance and party development, noting that his leadership qualities have remained impactful over the years.
He described the former Commissioner for Finance as a seasoned administrator whose tenure was marked by prudence, transparency and strategic fiscal management.
According to Amori, Okumagba’s stewardship helped stabilise and strengthen Delta State’s financial architecture.
“Olorogun Bernard Okumagba represents a rare blend of competence, humility and dedication to public service,” the statement read.
The Chief Adviser also acknowledged Okumagba’s role in the political landscape of the state, particularly as Chairman of the Warri Urhobo APC Leadership Council, where he said the celebrant had demonstrated commitment to party unity and inclusiveness.
“At the grassroots, his leadership has continued to inspire cohesion and purpose among party faithful. He remains a stabilising force and a respected voice in the Urhobo nation and beyond,” Amori added.
He further noted that Okumagba’s calm disposition, intellectual depth and bridge-building ability had earned him admiration across political divides.
Amori prayed for more years of good health, wisdom and strength for the APC chieftain to continue serving the state and the nation.
Okumagba is regarded as one of Delta State’s respected technocrats and political leaders, with influence spanning governance, party administration and community development.
