A serving commissioner on the board of the Delta State Oil Producing Areas Development Commission (DESOPADEC), Mr. Ikechukwu Akazor, is dead.
NIGER DELTA TODAY (NDT) Online learnt that Akazor reportedly died on Thursday morning in a hospital in Asaba, state capital.
The late Akazor was the Commissioner representing Ndokwa Ethnic Nationality on the Board of DESOPADEC.
Several sources within the commission confirmed the development to NIGER DELTA TODAY (NDT) Online.
This is coming over a year after another commissioner, Hon. Joyce Overah, also died after a brief illness.
