The Ooni of Ife, Oba Adeyeye Ogunwusi, is currently hosting His Royal Majesty, King Monday Obukohwo Whiskey PhD, Udurhie 1, the Ovie of Idjerhe Kingdom in Delta State to a historic royal visit at his palace in Ile-Ife, Osun State.
The Ovie of Idjerhe Kingdom, who was accompanied on the visit by some senior chiefs including a three time member of the House of Representatives, Chief Halims Agoda and Col. (Dr.) Agisogu (rtd), arrived the palace at about 7pm on Thursday.
Oba Ogunwusi, who described the visit of the Idjerhe monarch as historic, said both kingdoms share common tradition and history.
The host king praised the Idjerhe royal father for his contributions to the development of his kingdom and Niger Delta region.
