A former Third Deputy President General of the apex socio-cultural umbrella, Urhobo Progress Union (UPU), Chief Austin Uloho, is dead.
Chief Uloho, a prominent chief of Ughelli Kingdom in Delta State, reportedly passed on Thursday morning.
The deceased, who hold the prestigious title of Osio R’ Igho of the ancient Ughelli Kingdom, died at 73 years.
Chief Uloho was a renowned businessman and a major chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta.
Sources close to family confirmed the passage of the high-ranking Urhobo chief to NIGER DELTA TODAY Online.
Meanwhile, the people of Ughelli are already mourning the demise of the Urhobo leader, describing him as a forthright man and encyclopedia of the tradition and culture of the ancient Ughelli.
