Governor Ifeanyi Okowa of Delta state, along with Judith, have tested positive to Coronavirus.

The development disclosed by the Governor Wednesday comes six days after the couple went into self isolation following the case of their daughters who first tested positive for the pandemic.

Okowa personally tweeted that, “My wife and I have tested positive for COVID-19. We are well and continuing with our isolation/medication. We thank you all for your continued prayers for us and our daughter, the governor tweeted”

The development is said to be pushing more pressure on top functionaries of the Delta State Government to voluntarily self isolate and present selves for test.
