The immediate past governor of Delta State and senatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for Delta South, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan has congratulated Chief Festus Keyamo (SAN) on his swearing in as a minister by President Muhammadu Buhari.
Keyamo, alongside 42 others were sworn in on Wednesday as ministers by President Buhari.
Buhari, after the swearing in the ministers, assigned Keyamo as Minister of Niger Delta (State).
Uduaghan, who had earlier congratulated Keyamo on his appointment as minister-designate representing Delta State, on Wednesday took to his official twitter handle, @eeuofficial, to congratulate the Uvwie-born lawyer.
The former governor assured that the new minister has the capability to perform in his new assigned duty as a member of the Federal Executive Council (FEC).
He urged Keyamo to make the people of his home state, Delta, and indeed Nigerians proud as a minister.
Uduaghan’s congratulatory message read, “Congratulations Festus @fkeyamo on your new portfolio as Minister of Niger Delta (State)! We know your capability.
“I wish you all the best as you serve our nation and make our party @OfficialAPCNg and Delta State proud in the discharge of your duties.”
