Four workers killed, scores trapped as ‘hotel’ building collapses in Abraka

At least four persons working on a building under construction has been reported killed following the collapse of the building on Saturday morning in the university community of Abraka in Ethiope East Local Government Area of Delta State.

Scores persons are also said to been trapped in the collapsed building at the time of filing this report.

Sources told WARRI TODAY that the building broke down following Saturday downpour which made a section of the building to cave in.

A few workers who were working outside the building survived the incident.

It was gathered that rescue operations for the trapped victims had commenced at the time of filing this report.
