A Nigerian woman, Chiaka Thelma, last Friday, gave birth to a set of sextuplet at the Woman’s Hospital of Texas, United States of America (USA).

The hospital, via its Twitter handle, announced the good news, noting that it occurrence (birth of six children), is one in 4.7 billion.

It stated that the babies were born between 4:50 a.m. and 4:59 a.m., the twitter handle revealed the sex of the newborns as four boys and two girls.

The babies were born at weights ranging from 1 pound (0.4kg), 12 ounces (0.3kg) to 2 pounds (0.9kg), and 14 ounces (0.39kg).

While the baby girls have been named, Zina and Zuriel, the four boys are yet to be given names.Mother and children are doing great in the hospital’s intensive care unit, the Texas hospital added.
