The Governor of Delta State, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, has approved the appointment of Olorogun Ese Kakor as the Director-General of the Delta State Local Content Agency and Mr. Sabastine Okoh as Managing Director of the Delta State Structure for Signage and Advertisement Agency.
The approval was conveyed in a statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Kingsley Emu, who said the swearing-in ceremony for the appointees will hold on Thursday, February 19, 2026.
According to the statement, the ceremony is scheduled to take place at Unity Hall, Government House, Asaba, at 10:00 a.m., while the appointees, their families and invited guests are expected to be seated by 9:30 a.m.
The appointments are part of ongoing efforts by the Oborevwori administration to strengthen key institutions of government and enhance service delivery across the state.
Chief Ese is expected to oversee the affairs of the Local Content Agency, which is saddled with the responsibility of promoting indigenous participation in economic activities within the state.
On his part, Mr. Sabastine will head the Structure for Signage and Advertisement Agency, an agency responsible for regulating signage and outdoor advertising as well as improving environmental aesthetics in Delta State.
