A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, John Obukowho Nani, has felicitated the Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Emomotimi Dennis Guwor, on his 47th birthday, describing him as a unifying figure in the legislature.
Nani, who is also the Aghwemutuwevwi of Idjerhe Kingdom in Ethiope West Local Government Area, in a statement on Wednesday, commended the Speaker for his calm disposition and ability to foster cohesion among lawmakers despite political differences.
He noted that under Guwor’s leadership, the Assembly had continued to function with purpose, discipline and cooperation, contributing to stability in governance in Delta State.
According to him, the Speaker’s leadership style has not only strengthened lawmaking but also boosted public confidence in the legislative arm.
“As a leader, you have demonstrated maturity, balance and a clear dedication to service. Your ability to bring people together in pursuit of common goals remains commendable,” Nani said.
The APC chieftain also praised Guwor’s commitment to peace, inclusiveness and constructive engagement, describing them as key to democratic growth and sustainable development.
He expressed optimism that the Speaker would sustain the momentum, wishing him good health, wisdom and greater accomplishments in the years ahead.
