Speaking at the well-attended ceremony, Abe I described Senator Dafinone as a disciplined and people-oriented leader who has remained reachable despite the demands of public office.

According to the royal father, the senator’s willingness to take calls, respond to text messages promptly and return missed calls reflects a commendable leadership culture.

“Senator Dafinone is accessible and responsive. He takes calls and replies to messages. When he misses calls, he returns them as soon as possible. That is leadership and discipline,” the monarch stated.

He added that leaders at all levels should emulate such qualities, noting that accessibility and humility are essential attributes of effective representation.

It would be recalled that since his election three years ago, Dafinone has drawn commendations from stakeholders across Delta Central for his open-door policy and affable disposition. His contact numbers are publicly available, while his offices in Abuja and within the senatorial district remain open to constituents.

The senator, who attended the event, was also one of the official launchers of the book.

Observers say Dafinone’s approach to representation stands out in a political environment often criticised for elitism and disconnect from the grassroots.

The autobiography, Odyssey of Royalty, chronicles the monarch’s journey and leadership experience, attracting dignitaries from within and outside Delta State.

The event ended with goodwill messages and renewed calls for responsive and accountable leadership across the Niger Delta and the country at large.
