Reuben Izeze Announces 2025 Bursary Scheme For Ughievwen Students (Read How To Apply)

Delta State Commissioner for Works (Highways and Urban Roads), Comrade Reuben Izeze has announced the commencement of the 2025 Bursary for 220 indigenes of Ughievwen Kingdom in Ughelli South Local Government Area of the state.

 

The 2025 Edition of the Izeze Bursary Scheme underscores the Commissioner’s continued commitment to educational support, with an expanded number of slots for deserving indigenous students from the Ughievwen Kingdom.

 

Announcing on behalf of the Principal of the scheme, Comrade Reuben R.Y. Izeze, Secretary of the Izeze Bursary Board, Tisha Ejekanshe Matthew, ACA, confirmed that this year’s edition will accommodate 220 students, marking a 10% increase from the previous year.

 

The bursary is open to Ughievwen indigenes currently enrolled in higher institutions of learning. However, applicants must be in their second year (200 level or ND II) and above, and maintain a GPA/CGPA of at least 2.5. First-year students are not eligible.

Parents and guardians are encouraged to inform their wards both within and outside the state about the opportunity.

Applicants are required to print and complete the form, and submit it along with a copy of their School ID card and Local Government of Origin certificate by scanning or snapping the documents and sending them to any of the contacts listed.

 

It was further emphasized that applications will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis, and the deadline for submission is Thursday, 15th May 2025.
