The Senator representing Delta Central in the Nigerian Senate, Chief Ede Dafinone, has lauded the contributions of former Delta State House of Assembly and current commissioner representing Delta State on the Board of NDDC, Rt. Hon. Monday Igbuya, to the growth and development of Niger Delta region.
Senator Dafinone, who hailed Igbuya as he celebrates his birthday on Sunday, described the former speaker as a patriot who has always distinguished himself in public service and private life.
The commendation was contained in a statement signed by the Delta Central lawmaker to celebrate Igbuya on his birthday.
Dafinone, in a congratulatory message, said, “On behalf of the good people of Delta Central Senatorial District, I, Senator Ede Dafinone, heartily felicitates Rt. Hon. Monday Igbuya, former Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly and current Delta State Representative on the Board of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC), on the occasion of his birthday.
“Rt. Hon. Igbuya has distinguished himself as a patriotic son of Delta State, a grassroots mobiliser, and an advocate of development in the Niger Delta. His wealth of experience in public service and his contributions to legislative governance remain is commendable and continue to inspire young leaders.
