The immediate past Deputy Senate President, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, has praised what he describes as a transformative period in Nigeria’s political and economic history under the leadership of President Bola Tinubu on the Second Anniversary of his administration.
He credited the President with making courageous and often difficult decisions that have redefined the national trajectory, asserting that the sweeping reforms have not gone unnoticed on the global stage.
Omo-Agege, in a statement signed by his Special Adviser, Sir Sunny Areh, noted that President Tinubu’s administration is charting a new path for greater prosperity and economic growth for all Nigerians.
“The international community and Western economies have applauded the reforms introduced by President Tinubu,” he noted. “Investors are returning, and Nigeria is regaining its status as a prime destination for foreign investment.”
Acknowledging the ongoing challenges that come with deep-rooted reforms, the former lawmaker expressed confidence that the current administration is on the right track and urged Nigerians to continue supporting the President in delivering his vision.
“We must all rally behind the President. There is still work to be done, and he needs time to complete the process he has started—for the good of all Nigerians,” he said.
Omo-Agege added, “I also congratulate every Nigerian on the change in fortune for our country. I firmly believe that this government is on the right track and we will arrive at the destination where our country will return to greatness.
“Once again, I urge everyone to rally round the President to complete the process. There is still work to be done and he needs time to accomplish what he has started for the common good of all Nigerians.”
