Senator representing Delta Central in the National Assembly, Senator Ede Dafinone, has issued a strong rallying call to Nigerians and Deltans to remain steadfast in their support for the administrations of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Delta State Governor, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, declaring that both leaders were fully prepared for the responsibilities they now shoulder.

Dafinone described President Tinubu as the most prepared president in Nigeria’s history, insisting that his depth of experience, economic intellect, and national network equipped him to confront the nation’s toughest challenges head-on.

According to the senator, Tinubu inherited an economy “in a state of coma” and responded with bold, decisive policies that have averted collapse and set Nigeria on a path to recovery.

The senator made these remarks on Tuesday while hosting leaders and members of the Senator Ede Dafinone’s political structures from the eight local government areas of Delta Central at an end-of-year luncheon held at his country home in Sapele.

“I have said it before, and I will say it again: President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is the most prepared president Nigeria has ever had. His education, his experience as governor, his understanding of the economy, and his network across the country prepared him for this job.

“Yes, he has taken tough decisions. Subsidies were removed. Things became difficult. But those subsidies were benefiting only a few. Today, things are beginning to adjust. Prices are coming down gradually. The president is watching the economy closely, and Nigeria will be better for it”, Dafinone said.

He also praised Governor Oborevwori for his infrastructural development across Delta State, stressing that his office would continue to partner the governor to attract more dividends of democracy to the people of Delta Central.

The lawmaker also called on the leaders and members of the All Progressives Congress APC) in Delta State to unite and work for the re-election of President Tinubu and Governor Oborevwori as the nation heads into an electioneering season.
