Dr Kenneth Ugbala, Ebonyi new SSG

Ebonyi State Governor, Engr. David Umahi has approved the appointment of Dr. Kenneth Ugbala, former Commissioner for internal security as the new Secretary to the State Government (SSG).

It is the first appointment the governor has made since May 29, 2019 when formal Executive was dissolved.

He released the first appointment list on Tuesday evening with Dr. Kenneth Ugbala, former Commissioner for security and as the new SSG, Chief of staff Dr. Offor Okorie , Hon. Clement Nweke Principal Secretary to the Governor.

The new SSG,  Dr. Ugbala hail from Ezza south council area of the state while chief of staff is from Uburu Ohauzara and Hon Clement Nweke from Ikwo local government area of the state.

Umahi also approved the appointment of Barr. Joseph Ekumanka SSA Abuja liaison office ,  Saint Nchekwube Anako SA on Security & Utility – Capital City,  Benedict Nworie, SA on Security & Utility – Ebonyi North zone; Nwoba Onyekachi, SA on Security & Utility – Ebonyi Central zone and Chika Nwangele, SA on Security & Utility – Ebonyi South zone.

The newly appointeees will be sworn in today’s Wednesday, 19th June, 2019 by 12noon at the Exco Chamber, Government House Abakaliki.
