The Senator representing Delta Central in the National Assembly, Senator Ede Dafinone, has congratulated the Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Emmanuel Ekemejewa Sideso, Abe I, on the occasion of his 18th Coronation Anniversary and the formal launch of his biography, Odyssey of Royalty: The Reign of Abe I, Ovie of Uvwie Kingdom.
In a statement issued on behalf of the people of Delta Central Senatorial District, the lawmaker described the twin celebration as a fitting tribute to a reign he said has been defined by wisdom, stability and commitment to the welfare of the Uvwie people.
Dafinone commended the monarch’s leadership over the past 18 years, noting that Uvwie Kingdom has witnessed sustained peace, unity and development under his watch.
He also praised the royal father’s role as Chairman of the Council of Urhobo Traditional Rulers, saying his influence has strengthened harmony not only in Uvwie but across Urhoboland.
According to the senator, the peace entrenched in the kingdom has provided the foundation for growth and unprecedented development recorded since Abe I ascended the throne of his forebears.
“The stability and progress Uvwie enjoys today are products of purposeful and visionary leadership,” Dafinone said.
The senator added that the launch of the monarch’s biography would serve as a historic documentation of a reign marked by service and dedication to the people.
He prayed that God would grant the royal father good health, divine protection and wisdom to continue leading the kingdom to greater heights.
“May your reign remain a source of pride and inspiration to present and future generations,” he added.
