Effurun 132KV TCN Lines Break Down Again, BEDC Apologies To Effurun, Warri Customers

The BEDC Electricity PLC has announced technical fault at the Effurun 132KV TCN lines which supply electricity to consumers in Effurun, Warri and some parts of Udu and their environs in Delta State.

The technical fault which is already being fixed has resulted in power outage in the twin cities of Effurun and Warri.

BEDC in a statement on Monday apologised to her esteemed customers especially in the affected areas, stressing the fault was being vigorous addressed by the company’s team of engineers.

It, however, assured that once the issue is addressed, power supply would be restored to the affected areas.

The statement listed the affected areas to include Sapele Rd, PTI Rd, Airport Rd, Our Ladies and environs, Refinery Road, Ugboroke, NNPC Housing Complex, Ebrumede, PTI School, Commissioner Road in Ekpan, Effurun GRA, NPA Express Road and Ugbomrun in Effurun, Uvwie LGA of Delta State.

Others are Otokutu in Ughelli South, Orhuwhorun, Okpaka, Ukpelogo, Ekete in Udu and Jeddo and parts of Osubi in Okpe LGA.

While Ubeji, Ifiekporo, NPA Express Rd and its environs, Ajamimugha, Mix & Bake, Eboh, Edjeba, Ogunu, Warri GRA, Ekure-Itsekiri, Main Market, Hausa Qtrs, Upper Erejuwa and environ in Warri were equally affected.

“The Management of BEDC Electricity Plc. (BEDC) sincerely appeal for the understanding of our customers in Effurun, Warri and PTI business Units in Delta State over the disruption of power supply to their areas due to technical fault at the Effurun 132kV TCN

“While we apologize for any inconvenience occasioned by the outage, we implore all affected customers to bear with us while the team of TCN and BEDC engineers continue to work to resolve the issue as quickly as possible and restore power supply to the affected areas.

“BEDC is committed to serving you better”, the statement partly read.
