Family Announces Burial Arrangements For Late Nollywood Actress, Ada Ameh

The family of late Nollywood star, Ada Ameh, popularly known as Emuakpor, has released funeral arrangements for the interment of the late actress.

According to the burial arrangements released on family, burial activities will begin in Lagos, where the screen goddess was based for most part of her life, and climax in Benue State, where she hailed from.

Ameh, who became a household name over her role in the popular television sitcom, The Johnson, died at 48.

The actress died on July 17th at a hospital in Warri Delta State, two years, after losing her only child, Aladi Godsgift.

The remains of late Ada Ameh will be laid to rest on August 26, 2022, at her hometown in Ogobia Otupko Local Government in Benue State.

The poster containing the burial arrangements was seen on The Johnson’s Instagram handle, @officialthejohnsonsfamily, with the caption “Keep Resting On Emuakpor”.

The arrangements states that there will be a novelty match in her honor at Nathaniel Idowu Pitch, Oregie, Lagos, as well as a candlelight procession at Teslim Balogun Stadium on August 19.

While on August 25, Saint Mary’s Primary School Ogobia in Benue State will host a second candle night which would be followed by her funeral service and internment at her father’s compound in Otupko Local Government of Benue State.

Ada’s death left family members and fans in tears as well as the Nigerian movie industry where she spent over two decades in her acting career.
