The Vice Chancellor of Glorious Vision University (formerly Samuel Adegboyega University), Ogwa, Edo State, Professor Ezekiel Asemah, has bagged “Leadership Excellence Award” from Leadership and Development Initiative (LDI).
Asemah, a professor of Public Relations and Behavioural Change, is the 4th substantive VC of Glorious Vision University.
Asemah has brought innovative leadership and academic development to the faith-based leading private university in Nigeria since his first appointment as acting VC before his confirmation as substantive VC.
The award was presented to Prof. Asemah by the board of Leadership and Development Initiative on Friday December 27, 2024.
The leadership group noted that Prof Asemah was selected for the award in recognition of his outstanding leadership, innovation and academic accomplishments.
He was further praised for his role in promoting academic excellence and driving inclusive education through technological innovation at Glorious Vision University.
Accordingly, the group also recognised Glorious Vision University as the private university for technological innovation of the year.
