Renowned lawyer and Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN), Olorogun Dr. Albert Akpomudje, has been installed as the Akpile/Akpohor of Olomu Kingdom in Delta State.
Akpomudje, a leading Life Bencher, was installed by the 104-year-old Ohworode of Olomu Kingdom and Chairman of of the Forum of Urhobo Traditional Rulers, His Majesty, Dr. Ovie Richard L. Ogbon, Ogoni-Oghoro 1, on Saturday.
Akpile/Akpohor (Traditional Prime Minister) is third in traditional hierarchy in Olomu Kingdom ranked after Ohworode (King) and the Otota of Olomu Kingdom.
The former Secretary-General of Urhobo Progress Union (UPU), apex socio-cultural umbrella of Urhobo people worldwide, succeeds late Olorogun Milton Paul Ohwovoriole (SAN) to hold the coveted traditional prime minister title of Olomu.
