Senator Ede Dafinone, representing Delta Central in the Senate, has congratulated the Ovie of Agbon Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, OGURIMERIME Ukori I, on the occasion of his 13th Coronation Anniversary.
In a statement on Saturday, the lawmaker described the milestone as a celebration of purposeful leadership, wisdom and steadfast commitment to the progress of Agbon Kingdom.
Dafinone said the monarch’s reign over the past 13 years has been defined by dignity, vision and a deep sense of responsibility in preserving the rich cultural heritage and traditions of the kingdom.
He noted that under Ukori I’s leadership, Agbon Kingdom has continued to enjoy peace, unity and social harmony, strengthening the bonds among the people and reinforcing the kingdom’s identity.
According to the senator representing Delta Central, the royal father’s contributions to community development and social cohesion have remained a source of pride, not only in Agbon Kingdom but across Delta State.
“Your Majesty’s unwavering dedication to the well-being of your people stands as a shining example of impactful traditional leadership,” Dafinone stated.
He prayed that God would grant the monarch good health, wisdom and many more years on the throne.
“May your reign continue to usher in greater peace, prosperity and progress for Agbon Kingdom,” he added.
