The immediate past governor of Delta State and senatorial candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for Delta South, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, says it would do the people of the state a lot of governor if they vote for Chief Great Ogboru, the APC governorship candidate in the forthcoming elections.
Uduaghan said he had decided to team-up with Ogboru because he understands the plights of Deltans just like him and he is committed to giving the state a new leaf of life if elected as governor.
The former governor particularly observed that the state is currently in dare of politicians of Ogboru caliber with vibrant and tested business acumen to run the state economy for the benefit of all Deltans irrespective of their ethnicity or political affiliation.
Speaking at the APC Delta Governorship Rally for Patani Local Government Area, APC Senatorial candidate noted that providence had brought him and Chief Ogboru together because it was Ogboru’s time to rule the state as governor.
Uduaghan said his administration through her “Three-Point Agenda” invested in the peace and security which opened up the state for business investment.
He revealed that he has also observed that Ogboru has a natural flair for business which his life has exemplified over the years.
“There is a reason Ogboru and I are working together. After crisis comes investment. Ogboru has business sense. At some point, he was the youngest businessman in Delta State. Today, Delta needs someone with business acumen to create a lot of opportunities for our people especially the youths.
“Ogboru is someone that can encourage businesses to thrive now that we are experiencing peace. His experience in business will come handy in managing the affairs of our state.
“Ogboru is also passionate about education. He is pained by the current state of education and has promised to give our children free education”, the former governor hinted.
Uduaghan promised to team up with the vibrant Collins Eselemo vying for Bomadi/Patani Federal Constituency to give the District a formidable representation at the National Assembly, a representation that will attract due national relevance to Delta South.
Chief Great Ogboru, whose wife hails from Patani promised good and investment-friendly government when elected into office while also begging the people of Patani to vote for all APC candidates in the forthcoming coming general elections.
