Julius Bobi, Delta APC Chieftain

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ughelli North Local Government Area in Delta State, Comrade Julius Oghenevwegba Bobi, says APC would soon take all elective positions in the state including the governorship seat.

Bobi, a senior legislative aide to the Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege, said the signals that the party will take over the state were very clear for all to see.

Speaking with WARRI TODAY in an interview, the former House of Assembly for Ughelli North Constituency 2, noted that the party was taking strategic moves to actualize the plan.

He posited that the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) led administration in the state in the last 20 years has failed to perform to the expectation of Deltans, adding that it was time to change the baton in the state.

According to Bobi, an APC-led government would provide ample opportunity for youth empowerment and securing gainful employment through productive ventures and promotion of educational opportunities for all Deltans irrespective of tribe.

He boasted that it will surprise the PDP when they had been cornered to opposition party in the state, adding that the ongoing plan was to see APC produce from Councillorship to governorship seats.

Bobi added, “Our plan is to strategically take over Delta State from PDP. We are not losing sleep on that and it shall come to fruition soon. An APC government will benefit all Deltans through our rigorous quest to develop the state.”

The APC chieftain assured Deltans that there will be no rhetoric but impactful actions that will make Deltans remain grateful and satisfied with their decision to support APC.

“We will ever remain faithful to our words. The presence of the federal government shall be tangible. There will be transparency and accountability in the way the business of governance is run unlike what the ruling PDP is doing”. Bobi reiterated.
