The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has released the final list of successful candidates for appointment into the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Customs II (ASC II) in its 2024/2025 recruitment exercise and directed successful applicants to begin the next stage of the process on Wednesday, July 29, 2026.
The Service announced the development in a statement issued on Monday by its National Public Relations Officer, Assistant Comptroller Abdullahi Maiwada.
According to the statement, applicants are to visit the official Nigeria Customs Service website or check selected national newspapers to confirm their recruitment status.
The NCS said successful candidates would also receive notifications through their registered email addresses and SMS.
Maiwada disclosed that candidates who receive provisional offers of appointment must log into the recruitment portal using their National Identification Number (NIN) or registered email address to upload a valid Medical Certificate of Fitness obtained from a government-recognised hospital.
He explained that the portal for uploading the medical certificates would be activated on Wednesday, July 29, 2026, and remain open for one week.
“The Service wishes to inform all successful candidates that the portal link for the upload of the Medical Certificates of Fitness will be activated on Wednesday, 29 July 2026. Candidates are required to complete the upload process within one week from the date of activation of the portal,” the statement said.
The Customs Service also directed successful applicants to update their current state of residence on the portal and formally accept the provisional offer of appointment by clicking the “Accept Offer” button.
Maiwada said candidates who complete the process successfully should await the issuance of their Trainee Identification Number, which will be communicated within one week.
He added that details of documentation and physical screening, including dates, venues and requirements, would be announced through official communication channels.
The Service warned that failure to upload the required medical certificate, update personal information or complete any of the stipulated procedures within the prescribed timeline could lead to disqualification and forfeiture of the provisional offer of appointment.
“All successful candidates are advised to strictly comply with the outlined instructions and complete each stage within the stipulated timelines,” Maiwada said.
He congratulated the successful candidates on behalf of the Nigeria Customs Service Board and the Comptroller-General of Customs, urging them to prepare for a career built on professionalism, integrity and service to the nation.
