The immediate past Rector of the Delta State Polytechnic, Otefe-Oghara, Professor Emmanuel Ogujor, has announced Friday February 23, 2024, for the burial of his late mother, Mrs. Rebecca Otovokegbedi Ogujor nee Akporehe.
Prof. Ogujor is a renowned researcher and current Dean, Faculty of Engineering, University of Benin, Benin City.
Mama Rebecca Otovokegbedi Ogujor died on Tuesday November 14, 2023, at the age of 72.
She was born into the families of Late Pa Samuel Akporehe of Ekokota Dynasty and Onakota Dynasty of Oviri-Olomu town of Olomu Kingdom in the Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State.
Mama Rebecca was married to late Pa. Ogujor of Agbon-Olomu in Olomu Kingdom.
Announcing the burial programmes in a statement on Tuesday, Prof Ogujor, said the burial ceremony will hold at Oviri-Olomu town on Friday 23.
He said Service of Songs will hold by 4pm Wednesday, 21st February, 2024 at Pa. Idedede Ogujor’s Compound Agbon-Olomu in Ughelli South LGA Delta State.
The statement added that, “Body leaves Ufor Hospital Mortuary, Ughelli, by 10am on Friday, 23rd February, 2024, for funeral service at Christ Anglican Church, Agbon Olomu, Ughelli South LGA, Delta State.
“Entertainment of guests will take place by 1:00pm Friday at Oviarien Primary School 1, Oviri-Olomu Ughelli South LGA, Delta State.
“Thanksgiving service will hold at Christ Anglican Church, Agbon-Olomu. Ughelli South L.GA, Delta State by 8:00am on Sunday, 25th February, 2024.”
