The Delta State chapter of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) has endorsed the second term bid of Governor Ifeanyi Okowa in the forthcoming governorship election in the state.
Okowa was endorsed by PFN at a Special Convention tagged ‘Christians and Politics Rally’ which is currently holding at the Heroes of Faith Church, Ughelli.
The State PFN chairman, Bishop Kingsley Enakirerhi, who made the pronouncement on behalf of the forum, said Okowa has done well and should be returned for second.
Enakirerhi noted that as the leadership of PFN has decided to support Okowa becuase of his track record of performance and his godly disposition
Also speaking, Bishop Simeon Okah said “We are united in Delta State. We are not divided. The word of God is powerful, everything you can see today is created by word and with words, we are supporting Governor Okowa, with Senator Dr Okowa, Delta shall be bigger because, God does not disappoint his people; the unity in Delta today shall be better.”
The convention is being currently being attended by Governor Okowa and other top government functionaries.
Governor Okowa had earlier been endorsed by traditional rulers and President-Generals of Isoko Ethnic Nationality.
