WARRI TODAY can report that massive protest is presently ongoing in Okochiri, Okrika Local Government Area of Rivers State following Thursday’s alleged military invasion of the palace of King Ateke Tom.

Ateke, a former militant leader in the Niger Delta, is the Amanyanabo (king) of Okochiri Kingdom, in Rivers State.

The protesters were said to be demanding for peace in Okochiri Kingdom during Saturday’s elections in the state.
