Edo 2020: Three EDSOGPADEC Members Dump Obaseki For Ize-Iyamu

A head of Edo 2020 Governorship election, three members of Edo State Oil and gas producing Area Development Commission Board on Monday resigned from the board, and vowed to work for the victory of APC Candidate, Postor Ize Iyamu.

Those who tendered their resignation letters to governor, Goodwin Obaseki are: Hon. Osamwonyi Atu, member representing Orhionmwon Local Government Area, Prince Emmanuel Odigie, member representing Edo Central and Alhaji Railwanu Oshiomhole, member representing Edo North in the Board respectively.

Hon. Atu while resigning his membership of board, regretted supporting and working for Mr. Obaseki.

He accused Governor Obaseki of deliberately sidelining Orhionmwon LGA, where he hails from, from being developed.

 He said the Governor was known for diverting developmental projects meant for the LGA to Ikpoba Okha local government area.

Hon. Atu, however, vowed to join forces with his great party, the All Progressives Congress (APC) and deliver its governorship candidate, Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu in the September 19, 2020 Edo Governorship election.

On their parts, Hon. Odigie and Alhaji Oshiomhole equally vowed to remain in the APC as loyal and committed Party faithfuls, saying they cannot cross over to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) with Governor Obaseki.
