Tantita Mgt Visits Ovie Of Idjerhe Kingdom, Pledges Sustained Partnership With Niger Delta Communities


Tantita Security Services Nigeria Limited has again reinforced its commitment to deepening ties with host communities in the Niger Delta, declaring that traditional institutions and local residents remain central to its operations.

The assurance came during a courtesy visit by the company’s management team to the palace of the Ovie of Idjerhe Kingdom in Delta State, His Majesty King Obukohwo Monday Whiskey PhD, Udurhie 1.

The delegation, led by Tantita’s Community Relations Manager, Dcn Akpos Seimode, visited the revered Idjerhe king as part of efforts to strengthen existing collaboration and mutual trust.

Receiving the team, the Ovie of Idjerhe Kingdom, His Majesty Udurhie I, lauded Tantita for maintaining what he described as a peaceful and cordial relationship with the kingdom and its people.

Speaking during the engagement, Seimode said the relationship between Tantita and the Idjerhe Kingdom had remained smooth, productive, and rooted in trust.

He stressed that the company sees host communities not as mere stakeholders but as critical partners in progress.

Seimode noted that Tantita had continued to distinguish itself through constant engagement with traditional rulers and community leaders across the Niger Delta, adding that the company remained committed to peace, stability, development, and shared prosperity in its operational areas.

He further emphasised the importance of collaboration in protecting critical oil and gas infrastructure, saying sustained harmony between communities and security operators was vital to national economic stability.

Responding, the monarch expressed appreciation for the visit and reaffirmed the kingdom’s readiness to continue supporting initiatives geared towards development and sustainable cooperation.

The royal father said the enduring relationship between Tantita and Idjerhe Kingdom reflected the sincerity of the company and the openness of the people to organisations genuinely committed to community advancement.
