The governor of Delta State, Dr Ifeanyi Okowa, has said Nigerians should not be tired of praying for their leaders including political leaders.

Okowa explained that such prayers would help those in authority to surmount the daily temptations as well as to make good decisions that will engender good governance for the people they lead.

The governor spoke at a thanksgiving service/baby dedication of the member representing Warri South West in the Delta State House of Assembly, Mr Dennis Guwor and baby Niki-Guwor Vanessa, daughter of the lawmaker at the Redeemed Christian Church of God in Effurun, Uvwie local government area of the state.

Okowa said those in political positions are faced with a lot of temptations but they could only make right decisions through personal prayers and the prayers of the people.

He said, “pray for us always because, when you are in political position, you face all manners of situation but, with God the right decisions that will benefit the people will be implemented.
