Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State on Friday met behind closed doors with six governors elected on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) at the Government House, Port Harcourt.
A statement signed by the Special Assistant to the Rivers State Governor, Electronic Media, Mr Simeon Nwakaudu, confirmed the development.

The governors at the meeting include; Adamawa State Governor, Umaru Fintiri, Imo State Governor, Emeka Ihedioha ,Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde ,Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom , Sokoto State Governor, Amimu Tambuwal and Zamfara State Governor, Mohammed Mattawale.
The statement said the governors arrived the Rivers State Government House at about 6pm and proceeded to the official residence of Governor Wike where they held a closed doors meeting.
It, however, state the reason for the meeting.
