Ahwinahwi Urges Omo-Agege To Work With Other Leaders To Move Urhobo Forward

Two-time member of the House of Representatives, Hon Solomon Ahwinahwi has tasked the Deputy Senate President, Senator Ovie Omo-Agege to use his wealth of experience as a lawyer to guide the Red Chamber by initiating bills that will impact positively on the life of the common man.

Hon. Ahwinahwi who spoke at Effurun at a thanksgiving service of Senator Ovie Omo Agege on Sunday, congratulated the Senator on his electoral victory and subsequent election as Deputy Senate President.

While commending Senator Omo-Agege for remembering to thank God for his elevation, Hon. Ahwinahwi described him as a quintessential lawmaker who has made his marks at the Senate within a short period.

He noted that Chief Ovie Omo Agege’s elevation as Deputy Senate President was due to his valuable contributions on the floor of the Senate, and urged him to use his position to bring Urhobo Nation to its pride of place as the fifth largest tribe in the country by carrying out his duty with utmost diligence.

The former Federal lawmaker urged Senator Ovie Omo-Agege to use his position to attract development to Delta State especially to Urhoboland, and prayed God to grant the Deputy Senate President more wisdom and grace to carry out his onerous assignments.

He called on Deltans irrespective of party affiliations to pray and support Senator Omo-Agege to enable him deliver on his mandate.
